Taking the opportunity to put your convoluted thoughts on paper for minutes then hours, which turns into days and months is the path of an author. Spending time to reflect on the twists and turns of your journey and sketch it to make sense for others to follow the trace, takes time and patience. For me, it also meant being willing to be vulnerable as I open up to speak to strangers and friends, alike. But it also meant being open to selfless healing for myself and others who may also identify sections of the sketch to be similar to their own.
I have attempted to do that with my first book, and now it is being released on Amazon May 22, 2022. The joy was shared last night by one of my girlfriends who brought the magnanimity of what the Launch will mean. She said, "girl you have to celebrate this win...it is a huge deal!"
